Hennepin County Probation Center (North) Remodel

This project involved the partial remodel of the reception area and surrounding offices in order to provide for new “sterile” interview rooms. Prior to the addition of sterile interview rooms, staff would conduct visits with their clients in their personal spaces which was causing flow and security issues. New interview rooms were created with access from the remodeled reception via a public corridor. Secured office spaces were arranged to allow staff to maneuver without having to exit secured areas. The reception area was altered in order to provide better visibility of the main entrance and public spaces while creating a larger, more accessible waiting area.
