AMANDA MALDONADO, AIA, NCARB
Amanda is the President & CEO of BAI. She has an extensive background in commercial renovation and remodeling projects. She is highly adept at working within existing buildings, navigating organizational standards, and managing projects from initial concept through final completion. Her expertise spans religious, municipal, and higher education facilities, where thoughtful coordination and technical precision are essential to project success. Leadership and project management skills, guiding teams, facilitating client engagement, and maintaining alignment between scope, schedule, and budget are her strength. Her strong communication skills enable her to effectively lead meetings, synthesize a diverse array of stakeholder input, and balance varied perspectives—particularly within public and congregational settings. Through proactive coordination and clear direction, Amanda consistently delivers well-organized, thoughtfully executed projects.
In her free time, Amanda and her husband are always trying to find creative ways to entertain their two sons. Between their sports practices and games, she indulges the boys' shared passion for Pokémon, even going so far as to painting scenes on their bedroom walls! Her interest in curating interesting, enjoyable spaces for all ages extends beyond her personal life and she infuses that same enthusiasm to our design process.
